Colin R. Bowdidge
Ph.D.

Technical Advisor

Colin R. Bowdidge was educated at the University of Cambridge, where he received an M.A. degree in geology, mineralogy and petrology, and at the University of Edinburgh, where he earned a Ph.D. in geology. He is a registered Professional Geoscientist in Ontario and Newfoundland and Labrador, and has been an independent consulting geologist since 1974. He has worked on a multitude of exploration and development projects worldwide, searching for base and precious metals, uranium, and industrial minerals in a wide variety of settings. He has served, and continues to serve, as a director and/or senior officer of several publicly traded mining and exploration companies.

James Adams
Ph.D., CFA

Technical Advisor

Based in New York, Dr. James Adams has over thirty years of experience in the financial industry. He spent 26 years at J.P. Morgan, serving corporate, public, and not-for-profit clients across various regions and industries. In his most recent role as Managing Director of Markets & Investor Services, he led Asset Owner sales and relationship management across all aspects of the investment portfolio, engaging with CIOs and COOs, as well as their consultants, and delivering emerging technology solutions. Before joining Investor Services, Dr. Adams spent fifteen years in interest rate and foreign exchange risk management, advising multinational clients in corporate finance and risk management, as well as five years with the firm in Europe. Dr. Adams left J.P. Morgan in 2018 and is currently Senior Director of Education at CFA Institute and Adjunct Professor of Finance and Risk Engineering at New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from The Ohio State University and has been a Chartered Financial Analyst since 2001.

Kevin Keats

Mr. Keats is a successful businessman and entrepreneur, and a member of the renowned Keats prospecting family, which was instrumental in the recognition, through multiple discoveries, of Central Newfoundland as a world-class destination for gold and base metal deposits. The Keats family were awarded the Bill Dennis Prospector of the Year Award in 2007 for their collective contributions to the mineral industry in Newfoundland & Labrador and abroad.
